My screensaver settings were grayed out and set to 15 min timeout with password on resume, which was driving me nuts! Method 2 in the above linked did the trick for me. There were some policy settings that needed removal. Suggest if there are any other screen saver related settings in the section of Registry method 2 deals with, delete them all.
Hey Everyone…this drove me nuts as well!!! I had tried everything above but this worked for me Win10 Pro Version :. The very first item is "Require sign-in"; change that drop-down to "Never" and that's all. I changed all of the settings shown above back to what they were originally and this still works.
